The Rules Governing Horse Racing in Alberta are AMENDED as follows:
Chapter 3: General Horse Racing Rules, Part 6 Standardbred Racing, Division 5 Placing and Money Distribution
The following Rule 424 s is AMENDED to read:
Rule 424 s Horses not finishing
(1) If there are any premiums for which horses started but were unable to finish due to an accident or interference, all unoffending horses that did not finish shall share equally the premiums they would have been entitled to had they finished, and any remaining premiums shall be paid to the race winner.
(2) If there are any premiums for which horses started but were unable to finish and the situation is not dealt with by these rules, all such premiums shall be paid to the race winner.
Rule 424 s Horses not finishing previously stated:
If the premiums apply with respect to any horses that start but were unable to finish, due to an accident or otherwise, all unoffending horses that did not finish are to share in those premiums, if the judges board so decides.
