The Stewards have determined that the horse identified as Wits Dubai Girl in the race program was, in fact, Maybe So. Maybe So crossed the finish line first but was subsequently disqualified and declared unplaced for competing under an incorrect identity.
The Stewards hereby order the following corrections to the official past-performance records:
- The performance line for Race 5 on October 11, 2026, race shall be deleted from the official past-performance record of Wits Dubai Girl, as that horse did not compete in the race.
- The performance line for Race 5 on October 11, 2026, race shall be recorded under the correct name, Maybe So, reflecting the horse’s disqualification and declaration as unplaced.
This ruling is issued to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the official racing records.
