In the opinion of the Board of Judges, DRIVER, JOHN RYAN ABBOTT, PERM. ADD.:  SURREY, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA, D.O.B. MAY 3, 1985,  did violate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 458(1)(g); A driver shall not commit any of the following acts which are considered violations of driving rules: fail to set or maintain a pace comparable to a pace that the caliber of horses in the race are capable of, resulting in an excessively slow quarter or any other distance, considering track conditions, weather and circumstances in the race; while driving #5 “Y V FOUR ROSES” in Race 10, Friday, June 26, 2026.

PENALTY: JOHN ABBOTT is hereby FINED THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) and SUSPENDED ONE (1) RACE DAY (DRVING ONLY), WEDNESDAY, JULY 8, 2026.

In accordance with HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 297(1) fine to be paid within ten (10)days.

MEETING: Century Downs Racetrack and Casino, Balzac, Alberta, Canada - June 30, 2026

In the opinion of the Board of Judges, DRIVER, FARRIER/PLATER, TYLER RYAN REDWOOD, PERM. ADD.: OLDS, ALBERTA, CANADA, D.O.B. NOVEMBER 20, 1983, did violate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 456s (xiv);  A monetary penalty and/or a suspension may be applied by the starter or by the Judges for any of the following violations contained in subsections (i)-(vii). In addition, the Judges may place the offending horse for a violation of subsections (iii), (iv) or (vi) of this rule: strikes or hooks wheels with another sulky; while driving #5 MAJESTIC PRINCE” for striking the sulky causing interference to #7 OUTLAWPERFECTIMING before the ¾ pole in Race 2, Friday, June 26, 2026.

In accordance with HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 276(2)(a) “MAJESTIC PRINCE” finished 3rd placed 8th.

PENALTY:  TYLER REDWOOD is hereby SUSPENDED TWO (2) RACE DAYS (DRIVING ONLY) JULY 8 AND JULY 10, 2026.

In the opinion of the Board of Judges, OWNER/TRAINER, MICHELLE YVONNE DANROTH, PERM. ADD.: LUMBY, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA, D.O.B. APRIL 22, 1962, did violate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 344; No person may smoke on the property of a licensed operator except in designated areas; by smoking in an undesignated area on Sunday, June 21, 2026.

PENALTY: MICHELLE DANROTH is hereby FINED THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).

OWNER/TRAINER, EXERCISE PERSON, PONY PERSON, AUTHORIZED AGENT, CARSON FREY, PERM. ADD.: LEDUC, ALBERTA, CANADA, D.O.B.: APRIL 27, 1974, is hereby FINED THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) for his conduct during a weather delay by failing to notify the Board of Stewards that he wanted to scratch the horse #5 “SQUALOTORO” from Race 6, June 26, 2026, due to track conditions. Mr. Frey unsaddled his horse and left the Paddock.
