After reviewing the films of the start, the Board of Stewards determined that the third-place finisher #4 O Sawyer (Daniel Garcia) broke out and the fifth place finisher #6 Hot Cerveza (Jesus Medina) broke in causing #5 Jess the Train (O.A. Hernandez) to take up sharply losing all chance to recover. Therefore #4 was disqualified from third and placed fifth behind #5 and #6 the fifth-place finisher was also disqualified and placed sixth behind #5.
