Notice to Thoroughbred Horsemen: Eligibility and Allowance for "A" Tracks

A horse that breaks its maiden shall be considered a winner regardless of the money earned.

A horse that wins their non-winners of 2 lifetime and their non-winners of 3 lifetime on an Alberta "B" Circuit track and/or "C" Circuit track, will remain eligible for an Alberta "A" Circuit track non-winners of 2 lifetime condition. For every additional win a horse has on an Alberta "B" Circuit and/or "C" Circuit track, they lose one Allowance on the Alberta "A" Circuit track.

A horse that wins 2 races or less on an Alberta "B" Circuit and/or "C" Circuit track in the current calendar year will not be considered in the eligibility for races on the Alberta "A" Circuit track. A horse that wins a Stake race at an Alberta "B" Circuit and/or "C" Circuit track will be considered in the eligibility on the Alberta "A" Circuit track.
