Backstretch- accidents, fines, suspensions, objections, disqualifications, refunds, pertinent incidents, general details
Race 1 – Jockey Daniel Tavares issued a slip to review the films with the Stewards regarding the use of the riding crop.
After reviewing the films with Mr. Tavares and listening to his explanation Mr. Tavares was fined $100 for misuse of crop riding.
Race 4 – Jockey E. Gonzalez issued a slip regarding the disqualification.
After reviewing the films with Mr. Gonzalez regarding the disqualification, Mr. Gonzalez agreed that he did come out and interfered with a horse on his outside; Mr. Gonzalez was issued a one-day suspension.
