The $1 million Pick 10 on Canadian Derby day at Northlands Park wasn't conquered - but one handicapper won the mandatory payout from the pool.

An on-track bettor won $9,500 for picking 6 out of 10. That was the highest success rate for the difficult wager that carried an insured $1 million prize if 10 out of 10 had been hit.
