Construction of Century Downs Racetrack and Casino is progressing at a good rate. Steel is 100% complete and the Q-deck is being assembled in order to make way for the pre-cast concrete panel walls, roof, and windows. By mid-October, the building will be enclosed for interior finishing.
Outside of the building, work is nearly complete on the infield drainage ponds and the racetrack is completely rough graded. By mid-October a complete racetrack surface will be in place and parking lots will show signs of paving work. On the North end of the property the barn and maintenance building will be built and enclosed for interior work before the (next) snow flies.
