There are still some spots remaining in the next two events on the Alberta Handicapping Tournament Tour: $12,000 Schanks (Calgary south) on July 5 and the $20,000 event at Northlands Park on July 11.

The winner at the Calgary tournament stop will receive $7,000. The top 10 finishers will receive cash or a prize. (2nd place $3,000, 3rd $2,000, 4th $150 Schanks gift card, 5th $100 Schanks gift card, 6th-8th $50 Schanks gift card, 9-10 $25 Schanks gift card) The $100 registration fee includes: $75 wagering card along with free continental breakfast, free lunch (12:30-1:30 p.m.) and a beverage ticket. The tournament starts at 1 p.m., with all wagers made on Northlands Park races.

At the $20,000 Northlands Park handicapping tournament on July 11 in the Paddock Theatre, the winner walks away with $10,000. The $125 registration fee includes $75 wagering card, free lunch, free afternoon snack and free program. The top five finishers receive cash: 2nd place $5,000, 3rd $2,500, 4th $2,000, 5th $500.
