Casino High took home four awards - including Grand Champion Running Horse - at the annual AQHRA awards gala. The two-year-old star finished first or second in all eight starts this year for trainer Stan Webb. Included in his four wins was the $76,000 Alberta-bred Quarter Horse Futurity on closing weekend in Lethbridge. The leading money earner in the province in 2009, Casino High also grabbed Champion Alberta-bred honours. Below is a complete list of the Quarter Horse award winners in the province for this year.
