HRA will continue to enforce the rules of horse racing and will ensure a fair and just system of investigation, hearings and penalties as outlined in The Rules Governing Racing In Alberta.

HRA's first priority is the security and officiating services ensuring the integrity of racing in best interest of the general public. Racing integrity and the protection of the public and the human and equine participants are the central goals of our regulatory and compliance mandate. Working with the horsemen associations and racetrack officials, the HRA will advocate the respect, dignity and welfare of all racehorses at all Alberta racing venues.

All rulings are now archived with searchable text of the ruling number, licensee involved, a summary of the ruling/incident and a reproduction image of the ruling document.
